Q: Do I need a subscription to borrow books?

A: Yes, you’ll need an active subscription to borrow books. Each subscription plan comes with a specific book quota, which defines how many books you can borrow at a time. You can choose a plan that best matches your reading requirement.

Q: Is there a security deposit? Is it refundable?

A: Yes, every subscription plan requires a security deposit. The deposit amount varies depending on the plan you choose. It is fully refundable — once your subscription ends, you can request the deposit back, provided all borrowed books are returned in good condition.

Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

A: Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. If you move to a higher plan, you’ll just need to provide the additional security deposit required. In case of a downgrade, your existing deposit will be adjusted accordingly.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept secure online payments through debit/credit cards, UPI, and net banking.

Q: How long can I keep a book before returning it?

A: You can keep a borrowed book for up to 30 days. If you’d like to continue reading beyond that, you’ll need to reissue the book. Otherwise, it will be considered as returned and scheduled for pickup at the earliest.

Q: What if I lose or damage a book while renting?

A: If a book is lost or returned in damaged condition, the book’s price will be deducted from your security deposit.

Q: Will I get a refund if I cancel in the middle of the month?

A: Mid-month cancellations are not allowed, and we do not provide partial refunds. However, you are free to discontinue your subscription from the next billing cycle.

Q: How long does it take to deliver a book after ordering?

A: We usually deliver your book within 1–2 days of placing the order. In rare exceptional cases, delivery might take a little longer, but we always keep you informed.
