1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By using ReadersZone, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must refrain from using our services.
1.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use ReadersZone. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
1.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activity under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
1.4 Intellectual Property
All content, designs, trademarks, and other intellectual property on ReadersZone are owned by ReadersZone or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
2.1 Subscription Plans
Subscription plans determine your borrowing limits and duration. Details of each plan are provided on the website. By subscribing, you agree to pay the fees specified.
2.2 Borrowing Limits
Users may borrow books within the limits of their active plan. Exceeding the limit is not permitted.
2.3 Subscription Expiry
When your subscription ends, borrowing privileges cease. All borrowed books must be returned within 7 days of expiry. Late returns may incur fees or deductions from your security deposit.
3.1 Return Policy & Late Fees
Books must be returned on or before the due date. Late returns incur a ₹10/day/book fine. Books returned 10 or more days late are considered lost, and the replacement cost is deducted from your deposit.
3.2 Damage Policy
Books returned damaged may result in a deduction from your security deposit. Damages include torn, wet, or defaced books. Report damages immediately upon delivery.
3.3 Security Deposit
A refundable deposit is collected when activating a subscription. Remaining deposit is refunded after all books are returned and account obligations are settled.
4.1 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. No card or UPI data is stored on our servers.
4.2 Refund Policy
In the event of account suspension or termination by ReadersZone for any reason, any unused portion of the subscription fee will be refunded at our discretion. Refunds will be processed after deducting any applicable fees or damages.
5.1 Termination Rights
ReadersZone reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, subscription, or access to services at any time, without prior notice, for policy violations, misuse, or other reasons deemed appropriate.
5.2 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, access to your account and services will cease. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued in accordance with Section 4.2.
6.1 Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in illegal activities, harassment, abuse, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems. Violation may result in account termination.
ReadersZone is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of services, delays, or errors. Liability for direct damages is limited to the amount paid for the subscription.
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ReadersZone does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operations.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
